Every country has its rules and regulations to maintain peace,prosperity and discipline in the society. When country progresses, institutions get shapes, rules are formulated and persons are recruited to have the smooth functioning of institutions. The traffic warden also renders invaluable services in maintaining the traffic rules in the society. All the traffic wardens are highly qualified and well-trained. They know the decorum of their job description.
The roads of every big city are always overcrowded of vehicles of kinds. The traffic warden restores traffic studiously. He is never relax or casual to his duties. It is a hard nut to crack to handle the flood of disorganized traffic but the traffic warden maintains the flow of traffic with his mature skill. He restores the traffic despite VIP and WIP movements in the city.
Traffic warden needs our sympathy, encouragement and appreciation We can well imagine his importance when signals are out of order and he is not on the spot The whole traffic is jammed and there seems no way out. His presence at crossings gives satisfaction to the motorists. He performs his duty honestly. He does not indulge in corruption as he is commonly dubbed with it.
Traffic warden is a well-wisher of the society. He has to intercept the motorist when the latter violates some traffic regulations. By doing so, he does not degrade the motorist but saves his life and costly car. Warden is a member of honest and dedicated force. He behaves politely and resolves the roblems of commuters. It is noted many times, the automobilists particularly journalists, Sawyers, ministers, members of parliaments and men of links mostly misbehave with trie traffic warden.. Some of them threaten traffic warden with dire consequences. The commuter should not forget the fact that by stopping him, the warden performs his duties.
Traffic warden leads a self-sacrificing life. He performs his duty in tough weather conditions. He has to face extreme cold and extreme hot days throughout the year. Heavy rains, hailstorms, scorching heat, chilly cold, smoky roads and noisy vehicles do not deter his determination to serve the nation. The traffic warden has to sacrifice many festivals and events mainly because of his duty. People enjoy festivals, while the traffic warden has to be on the road, away from his kith and kin.
Traffic warden's life needs to be dignified. The high-ups especially IG, DIG and SP should give traffic warden encouragement. They should be impartial in taking the trial of traffic warden. People should cooperate and behave politely with the traffic warden. Traffic warden should be given handsome salary package so the corrupt elements could be checked. He should be facilitated with free medical treatment. He should be equipped with weapon so that he may defend himself under any risk. Two weekly holidays should be sanctioned. to traffic warden so that he may restore his mental equilibrium.
Last but not least, let us join hands with traffic warden to respect the traffic laws for our safety. Let us develop general awareness of traffic rules to have smooth flow of traffic.
